Danielle Henderson was born in South Africa and moved to Canada in 2017. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology degree at the University of South Africa, and later obtained her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree at Yorkville University. Danielle is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and a member in good standing with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
Danielle uses an eclectic approach in counselling that integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Systems Theory, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Bowen's Theory, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. Danielle works with adolescents (13 years and up), individuals and couples to help and support people with various concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem issues, burnout, stress, communication issues, relational distress, emotional detachment, and relational conflict.
